No. 1 PAUL HAMILTON Our English teacher who memorably introduced us to Bob Dylan through a lesson where we analysed the lyric of Hurricane. He followed that up with a lesson on The Beatles Shes Leaving Home. Thanks, Sir! An honourable mention too for No.2, DOUG MILNER, our A-Level English teacher who, as well as lending us his Leonard Cohen LPs, agreed to our request for a lesson based on the lyric of Simon & Garfunkels The Dangling Conversation. He also graciously recorded the news readers part for our cover of Simon & Garfunkels 7 OClock News/Silent Night. Theres a chance were the only people to ever cover that song.
