ROCK City Ministries THEOPNEUSTOS “GOD BREATHED” TUESDAY, JANUARY 27TH 2015 TITLE: WHAT EXACTLY DO YOU WANT? 1 KINGS 3:5 “In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee.” God is saying to you as He said to Solomon “ask what I shall give thee.” There are so many things we human beings would love to have, like the economist will say ‘man’s needs are insatiable’. Per time in every man’s life there must be one or two most important need he’ll love to be met and the good part of this story is that God is ever willing and ready to meet your needs. Question is, what exactly do you need? Jesus said ‘ask and it shall be given unto you’ some people are either not asking or just assuming that they are asking (James 4:2-3) if you have a need for money but not specifying the amount you need, you are like one who beats the air. It’s not enough to pray “bless me o God” that you are alive is already a blessing from God, the food you eat daily is a blessing, there are lots of things that are proves of God’s blessing in your life but a wise man of faith does not only cry “thou son of David have mercy on me” many people think God moved is by sentiments, Nehi (No) God is not attracted by your tears or by your much shouting. It is your faith with a target that His mercy will locate. In Mark 10:46-52, a blind man with an aggressive faith kept crying out to Jesus, refusing to be stopped by protocol, his cry of faith attracted Jesus but still Jesus needed him to say what area of his life he needed mercy. So He asked him ‘what wilt thou that I should do unto thee’? The moment the blind man specified the area he needed mercy on, ‘that I might receive my sight’ Jesus declared his freedom from blindness. Stop generalizing your need for mercy, stop generalizing your desire for a miracle. Be specific, give your faith a target, let your faith be well channeled and I see you getting a mind blowing miracle. PRAYER AND DECLARATION LORD I RELEASE MY FAITH IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION, I RECEIVE MY ANSWERS THIS MOMENT.
