ROLLING COAL only happens at wide open throttle and usually only on performance modified engines. MY diesel burns CLEAN and does not smoke (even at wide open throttle). Most people dont realize that the manufacturing of 28 of the 29 batteries in a prius have cause MORE POLLUTION to the planet than a car with regular gasoline engine will produce during its entire service life. Now how green is that? NOT AT ALL! Its the people who own/drive a prius that have that smug attitude about how they are going to save the planet that bothers so many people. They arent saving anything. And many totally gasoline engine powered cars get nearly the same mileage without the batteries or the pollution the making of them has caused.
