ROMANS 11 : I am so thankful that God reached out to us gentiles. If He had not we would be seriously in trouble. There would be no hope after this life and we would be condemned to hell no matter what. It’s interesting to note how the cults state that God is done with the Jew when the Word of God is very, very clear on this matter from the first couple of verses. Paul states in Romans 11:1-4 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. (2) God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, (3) Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. (4) But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. God is not done with His chosen. He has made them blind and deaf to the Gospel and will latter deal with them again. Paul explains that in Romans 11:8-11 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. (9) And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them: (10) Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway. (11) I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. In the mean time we can still do what we can for the Gospel sake. I have few friends that are “completed Jews”. What I mean by completed is they are Jewish born-again believers of Christ. I find that absolutely incredible because not only are they God’s chosen people but they are also SAVED by the blood of Christ! Paul says in Romans 11:16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. Let me put a question out there. How is our tree? What kind of fruit are we producing out there in our own lives? Is it good or bad? Is there FRUIT being produced in our lives that represent Christ? Are we talking to others about the Gospel? Jesus stated this in Matthew 7:16-20 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? (17) Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. (18) A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. (19) Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. (20) Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Saints do you realize if you are not producing any fruit in your lives for Christ Jesus says that the TREE is cut down and burned? Saints there is a point in our lives where God says enough is enough you are useless to me. If I can’t get you to obey me and share the Gospel your coming home. Think about it. When was the last time we invested in someone’s life or shared the Gospel even read our Bibles? Jesus says “EVERY tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.” I had an incredible afternoon yesterday. I was sitting and watching my son and his wife play softball and something caught my eye. There were to young people that were playing in our basketball courts. The Holy Spirit said why are you sitting there get up and tell them about me. I walked to the van grabbed my Bible and walked over to the young men. I introduced myself and asked them if they had a church home. They stated that they go to school at a catholic church and that they were brothers. I then proceeded to voice the trues of Gods Word and how we have broken Gods laws. We went through a few of them and asked him the question if they were to stand before God would they be innocent or guilty? One said innocent because they do confession to a priest. I asked them if that priest saves you or does Jesus save you? He said Jesus. I then proceeded to go again through the laws. I asked him again would he be guilty or innocent. They said Guilty as charged. Then laid out the Gospel and they bowed their heads, repented of their sins to God and called on the Lord to be saved. When we were done you should have seen their faces. A incredible smile passed from ear to ear and I told them that God had just forgiven them of their sins past, present and future. There is no need to confess to a priest. They can go straight to God Himself! Now I pray that these two young men will be delivered from the false teachings of that “religion” and would grow in their RELATIONSHIP with Christ. Saints let’s make it intentional. There are some of you out there that are sick of the monotony and daily routines of life and need something exciting to do. Get out there and rescue the lost from the gates of hell! There is nothing more exciting than to lead a broken lost person to the throne of grace to be saved. THAT my friends is LOVE! THAT my friends is TRUE LOVE! Love is NOT showing. LOVE is SPEAKING to a BLIND, LOST person about Jesus! Having the love of people and willing to do whatever it takes to let people know about the Gospel! Love to all!
