RSOE EDIS Event Report - A total of 422 people have been evacuated in two districts in Sabah after 11 villages there were flooded today. Up to 406 people from 130 families were moved out of their homes in 10 villages in the Kota Belud district to a relief centre in Dewan Tun Said. Kota Belud district officer Abdul Gari Gari Itam said he expected more people to leave their homes as there had been requests for evacuation. “Rescue agencies are monitoring the situation and carrying out rescue operations,” he told Bernama.
