“RUN FOR DREAM” 2014 ASIAN DREAM CUP BRINGS RUNNING MAN TO INDONESIA KoreanUpdates have just got a great news from the Asian Dream Cup 2014 Announcement and Media Gathering held on Ice Palace Lotte Shopping Avenue, Jakarta, 25 March 2014. JS Foundation, along with SH Entertainment will bring this year’s Asian Dream Cup to Indonesia! “Run for Dream!” With JS Foundation’s dream of a world united through the spirit of football, they have run yearly Asian Dream Cup for 3 consecutive times in Vietnam, Thailand, and China; this charity event is held to encourage and giving chance for talented young people to play football as well as bringing Korean football onto the global field. The press conference is opened with the introduction from Mr park Sung Jong, the Director of JS Foundation and father of football athlete Park Ji Sung; he delivers his gratitude of the support JS Foundation receives in holding the event and asks for the support to continue despite the excitement of World Cup which might dim the Asian Dream Cup. On 02 June 2014, Gelora Bung Karno stadium will host the match between JS Friends and Indonesian All-Stars team, the line-ups have not been finalized yet, but several names we are familiar with like Evra, Nakata, Miura, Bambang Pamungkas, Gunaryo, and Leo Saputra are mentioned through the explanation from the spokepersons of Indonesian All-Stars team and SH Entertainment as promoter. The non- athlete players confirmed to join this match are the members of Running Man, a popular Korean variety show hosted by Yoo Jae Suk, Ji Suk Jin, Kim Jong Kook, Kang Gary, HaHa, Lee Kwang Soo, and Song Ji Hyo. Running Man members participation in the previous Asian Dream Cup events seem to bring high anticipation not only for football fans but also Korean variety fans. One day before the match, on 01 June 2014, there will be a press conference and a practice session opened to fans. The match itself will be aired live by RCTI, a big TV station in Indonesia, and will have an opening, halftime, and after match concerts as well as firework performance afterwards. Following the dream of Park Ji Sung to support young generation in playing football, all the sales of tickets for the open practice and match will be donated to sports foundations in Indonesia.
