RURAL COUNTIES UPDATE - VALENCIA The Valencia County Rural Committee met on October 24 and heard from Vickie Herring with Workforce Connections of Central New Mexico, who shared a number of valuable insights about Workforce Connections work. The team also welcomed our very own Ari Herring, who manages #UWCNM’s grant making process; she updated Valencia County nonprofit representatives about the 2015-16 grant application process. This year, donors in each of our rural counties can designate their Community Fund gift to stay in their county and we will recruit county residents as community volunteers to assist in the proposal evaluation and grant allocation process. #ruralcounties #LIVEUNITED
