Race Synopsis: The recent Belmont Guineas (Listed, 1600m) winner Summah’s Touch ($1.80 fav) raced in about eighth place three wide with cover following a very slow pace (first 1400m 1:31.29). She improved to fifth, still wide, nearing the home turn, took the lead at the 200m and then drew away to win impressively by two lengths. Elle On Friar was well back most of the way before being shuffled back to last in the 14-horse field at the 600m. She moved up wide out rounding the home turn, got to third at the 200m and fought on particularly well for a good second. Fashion Princess led early and eased noticeably to take a trail at the 1200m. She got a rails run nearing the home turn to take the lead on straightening and then battled on fairly well to hold on for third.
