Racism is so profound in this little town. And its typically the ones who say theyre not. As soon as the word got out about the hostage situation, the blacks started hollering they were probably white, and the whites was saying it was probably somebody black. Maybe it was both. Because when youre locked up, it doesnt matter what color you are. Everyone sleeping on the same type of cot, eating the same crap, and hoping for the same thing....to be free!
