Radio Theater Be a part of the revival that is Radio Theater! Using real radio drama scripts, participants will learn all the skills required to record and perform a LIVE radio show (with audience) for WSCA 106.1 FM. Portsmouth Community Radio DJ, Jean Proulx, will teach voice and sound effects; microphone technique; acting for radio (ex. emotion, diction, accents, attitude); casting; and understanding radio direction. Special guest speaker and host of WSCA’s Audio Theater, John Lovering, will join the class occasionally to share his knowledge, talents and studio space. Classes will be held at the Portsmouth Community Radio station on Islington Street in Portsmouth, NH. Limit 6 students Fee: $155.00 This course meets Thu from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm for 9 weeks.
