Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules. Educational Qualification : Candidates should possess Matriculation plus course completed Act Apprenticeship/ ITI approved by NCVT/ SCVT in the trades of Fitter/ Electrician/ Instrument Mechanic/ Millwright Maintenance Mechanic/ Mechanic Radio & TV/ Electronics Mechanic/ Mechanic Motor Vehicle etc for ALP Post and Matriculation plus course completed Act Apprenticeship/ ITI approved by NCVT/ SCVT in the trades of Electrician/ Electrical Fitter/ Wireman/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ TV & Radio/ Instrumentation/Computer/ Computer Networking etc for Technician posts. Mode of Selection : Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written examination. Examination Fee : Candidates have to pay the examination fee of Rs.40/- for ALP all other Technician categories in form of a crossed Demand Draft or in the form of crossed Indian Postal order to be drawn in favour of Assistant Secretary or Secretary or Member Secretary or Chairman of Railway Recruitment Board concerned as mentioned in notification. No examination fee for SC/ST/ Exservicemen, persons with disabilities/ Women/ minority/ economically backward candidates. For candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura and other far flung areas can send their application on or before 04-03-2014 up to 17:30 hrs.
