****Rain Showers Coming In**** The upper level low that was the engine for our Thursday weather system is now drifting inland over the Bay area. This is causing numerous areas of showers, some with heavy rain throughout the region. The Donner summit area is currently getting moderate rain at this time. As seen in the current radar below, a cell to our south is beginning to move into the Nevada county area and will bring showers over the next few hours. There could be areas of brief, but moderately heavy rain. Ill have a detailed update on the weekend forecast and the weather ahead for next week tomorrow morning. In the meantime, there have been lots of questions about the possibility of smoke from the King Fire. As in previous posts, we will not have any further impact of smoke from the King fire. All clear! More on that tomorrow as well.
