Rainfall to stay weak over North India in September; Monsoon likely to revive in central, south India Dry and sunny weather conditions will prevail over north and northwest India, including Punjab, Haryana and adjoining regions over the next few days followed by scattered rainfall from August 29, according to the IMD. However, a revival in monsoon rain is expected over central and south India.
