Rajeev Srivastava I had visited Mettupalayam in 1999-00 (see pic of my kids) with family for evaluation of 2 SFRI projects for FRI when Senior Balaji was head there. Right opposite SFRI campus, there were genetic gardens of FD. One such garden, raised under your supervision, was visited by us in the evening. In 2014 (see current picture in comparison of kids now), we happened to pass through Mettupalayam and we made it a point to see that plantation. We, by chance, found a watcher (seen with me in pic) therein who identified the place by seeing first picture. He told that he executed that plantation work. But, plots being in the elephant track, all tall trees of TAMARINDS were destroyed repeatedly. Watcher claimed you were his CCF Wildlife in Madumalai. We had difficulty communicating with them.
