Rally against Bodoland CORRESPONDENT BONGAIGAON, Sept 1 Having had a bitter experience in BTAD, the non-Bodo communities seem reluctant to lend their support to Bodoland demanded by the Bodos. This was reflected today in a public rally at Bijni in Chirang district organized by Oboro Suraksha Samiti (OSS), an umbrella organisation of non-Bodo communities basically living in BTAD. The rally, held at the Jakir Hussain High School, saw a huge crowd of general people and activists and supporters of the AAMSU, ABMSU, AKRSU, BSYF, AJSU etc., lending their moral support to OSS. OSS leader Jogesh Kalita in his address said till lasting peace returns to BTAD, the government should stop all talks with the Bodo organisations on the Bodoland issue.
