Ramadan Kareem! We are pleased to announce that our 14th Kindergarten will open in August in Saraswati primary Jerrybutty, the only government school operating in the heart of the largest slum of Kathmandu. This will be our 3rd in the city and we plan two more by October. As is now our model the kindergarten teacher will automatically receive early years training from our partner ECEC. This school is open to visitors during Monsoon and you are very welcome to do so. Furthermore we are excited and proud to announce that despite COTM having to compete with major charities for funding, you the Yaks are making the real difference where it counts! Our new primary school at Darme ,which opens on August 1st, will be the first in Nepal to be fitted out from KG to Grade 3 with the new model furniture and equipment. Darme will be the first government school in Nepal to provide end to end creative learning. Our goal is now to have five primary schools in Tandrang providing end to end creative learning by the end of 2015. Please continue to support us in this modest but game changing ambition!
