Ramadan is fast approaching and many families will be making plans to come closer to Allah together. But for some families Ramadan is a time of grief and sadness. Carers of addicts often experience very difficult times during Ramadan, especially when their addicted loved-one has not embraced the spirit of it, and is failing to fast and pray, carry on using, or experiencing relapses. Ramadan for many carers of addicts is a time of disappointment and extreme sadness. So who will help us to reach more people who can benefit from the advise and support on this page?
