Ramadan is only a few days away, this month is for all the Muslims in the world. Ramadan in KSA and UAE brings peace, joy; commodities, products and other goods become cheaper, Ramadan in these countries brings happiness by and large. Ramadan in Pakistan brings dead bodies cut into pieces and thrown away in sacks, bomb blasts in bazaars and mosques, sectarian wars, targeted killings, theft, rapes, inflation in the prices of commodities and other goods and whatnot. Still, Pakistanis look forward to this month, still go to bazaars to shop for Eid and still anticipate to get good amount of cash in the shape of “Eidi” (fingers crossed), guess we are one hell of a resilient people.
