Ramasura Kids performed brilliantly yesterday, well done everyone especially the little ones as this was their 1st ever interclub and really impressed me. Anthonys 1st interclub. He fought a more experienced kid, but gave it everything and shows great promise and cant wait for the next one. By the time Ant has 8 int.clubs like his opponent, im sure hell be flying! Kaya whos just 5 also 1st timer , fought an older boy and put him through his paces. This girl has no fear and never takes a step back! She is the youngest in class, but trains the hardest and listens all the time. Levina whos 9 surprised me the most. She Trains hard, hits hard, but getting her to listen and not talk about her day in class is hard, but in the ring yesterday she listened to everything and put a big smile on my chops. 1st int.club against a decent kid who was few yrs older, but didnt phase her!! Jack Axworthy up next and was guted he had to fight a girl, but this girl was solid and he soon thought differently. Jacks movement and skill is briliant and the kid couldnt handle his silky moves. Jack fought again against a very experienced lad and what a scrap it was! This is jacks 3rd int.club and im scared to think what hel be like in a few yrs! Luke Ryan who fought last week was on form again, showing an all round improvement in the clinch. For a 15 yr old hes as strong as a mule and has hands of stone. fought a good kid who was a decent counter fighter and a good lesson for both fighters. Jack Jones done me proud again and although hes not fighting fit he showed me a bit more aggression which is all i wanted to see from this yellow mellow lad. His opponent and his 20 corner men thought it was a world title fight to my annoyance, but it didnt phase Jack and he give as good as he got, well in kid! You only get out of this sport what you put into it and your all training hard and having a fun along the way. Some need to put more into it if im being honest, listen more in class and train harder.
