Rancho BioSciences will be presenting the open source platform tranSMART at the TM Forum for Digital Disruption meeting at the San Jose convention center, October 28-30. Rancho will be located in the Disruption Zone adjacent to the Innovation Theater. Representatives from Rancho will be showing how tranSMART can be used to store and analyze OMICs and clinical data in order to support personalized medicine. They will be showing real examples from their work with the Accelerated Cure Project and Orion Bionetworks who have funded the collection of the large multiple sclerosis data set that is now ready for analysis. Curated clinical information analyzed alongside with genomic, proteomic, and biomarker data helps participating researchers make novel hypotheses about disease mechanisms, forecast disease progression, and identify novel targets for disease treatment.
