Random storyline I thought up.. A woman murders her husband and gets away with it because she made it look like a suicide. Several months down the line she moves into a new home and starts experiencing strange noises throughout her house. Eventually the noises start to seem paranormal as objects begin to move on their own and fall out of sturdy bounds. The woman begins to believe it to be the ghost of her deceased husband trying to scare her out of the house. She drives herself insane and completely delusional trying to figure out why her dead husband had been tormenting her so much rather than killing her. Towards the end her home is falling to pieces and shes reached a breaking point. She cracks under the guilt and pressure she commits suicide inside of her decaying home. The police arrive on scene the next day to find the womans dead body being eaten by maggots and mice. Further investigation had shown the entire house was infested with rats that were demolishing the interior of the house. Causing all the paranormal activity. Stick that one in your pipe and smoke it M. Knight Shyamalan.
