Randy Newman | A Few Words in Defense of Our Country This post seems now aptly timed. Things have calmed down a bit after mid-term elections and more than a few of us left here in Kansas were less than satisfied with the results, we are still here. I put this up annually, because its worth revisiting. If you arent familiar with Randy Newman, he is one of the most talented and prolific songwriters in music today, and I remember hearing him as a child. I was weened on more than one musical oddity in my day, and this is a befitting tribute to these times.
