Raqqa 17-08-2014: Regime warplanes have carried out 23 air raids across Raqqa city and province so far today. Eleven people have been confirmed killed so far and dozens more injured, with efforts continuing to find bodies among the rubble of homes and other buildings destroyed in the carpet bombing. All the martyrs and wounded are civilians, including women and children. Most of the air raids in the city were focused on civil and administrative buildings in the city centre, while in Raqqa province there were two air raids on residential areas in the town of Hunaida and three on the area around the regime’s military airbase.
