Rather than share puppy pictures with everyone tonight, Ive decided to share my reply to a message. Someone wrote and asked me how the puppies were doing. In every litter there seems to be two or three that are troublemakers or mischevious. LOL In this litter, I have two males that are more playful, but to this point no one is bad. LOL I do love bad puppies for the record. All of them are extremely..... content (for lack of a better word). Giada has been a dairy cow. LOL and none of the puppies have seemed stressed or hungry. I cant remember the last time that I had a litter this uneventful. They are all extremely loving, but really calm. I did not expect this calmness of temperament from all of them. They were four weeks old yesterday. For the last seven days all of them come inside as a group for a minimum of several hours a day. They have progressed from a sleeping pile to exploring, playing with toys, swatting at your feet, etc. They have started playing with Mondo. They dont startle at much of anything. I have the TV playing on CMT most of the time. Loud at times, especially when Brantley Gilbert is on. I bathe them after every meal and use a flea comb on them daily, not because they have fleas, but because it stimulates blood and oxygen flow and it removes any dead skin. They always start out squiggly but within seconds they calm down and by the end theyre a lump in my hand. LOL They all have different personalities. One of my girls talks to me with her ears. LOL They wiggle and raise as I speak to her. Another talks back. My male Trucker is my most independent puppy. He and Whiskey prefer to roam the house, rather than chat with me. My girl with the beautiful head wants to be close but not controlled. She does know who Im calling when I say Wheres my pretty girl?. Its really odd though. No one of them really seems to need me this time. Maybe Katherine Kidd does a little. She prefers straight can food to the gruel, so she eats sparingly from the puppy pan. She always perks up when I pull her to the side for her special treat. LOL Anyway, sorry to ramble, it was enjoyable to actually put my thoughts to words for a change. Enjoyed the chat.
