Ray Rices wife posted a response on her Instagram account Tuesday regarding her husbands release from the Baltimore Ravens and the NFLs indefinite suspension when a video surfaced showing the former All-Pro running back hitting her in a hotel elevator. I woke up this morning feeling like I had a horrible nightmare, feeling like Im mourning the death of my closest friend, Janay Rice wrote. But to have to accept the fact that its reality is a nightmare in itself. No one knows the pain that the media & unwanted options from the public has caused my family. To make us relive a moment in our lives that we regret every day is a horrible thing. To take something away from the man I love that he has worked his ass off for all his life just to gain ratings is horrific. THIS IS OUR LIFE! What dont you all get. The grainy video, released by TMZ Sports, shows Rice and his then-fiancee Janay Palmer in an elevator at an Atlantic City casino. Each hits the other before Rice knocks Palmer off her feet and into a railing. Months ago, a TMZ video showed Rice dragging Palmer, now his wife, from the elevator at the Revel casino, which closed Sept. 2. That horrible nightmare? Yeah, I get it, youre mourning the loss of $40M per year. Now youre married with a unemployable man with no marketable skills outside beating up others, including yourself. YOU have caused your own pain and suffering by staying in an abusive relationship. OK, yeah, its your life, but it is illegal in this country to beat some sense into your wife, even if you buy her diamond jewelery and expensive cars and go out to expensive casinos. I really hope RavensNation is embarrassed of you and would not want anything to do with you ever again, at least until you come to your sense and get some help leaving your abusive relationship. You can bet that this thug without his $40M is not going to be any nicer to you now than he was back in February. I guess Ill wait until hes on trial for beating you to death to say I told you so...
