Raymond Charles: Hi its me Ray. I want to thank everyone who is trying to help me find my forever home by posting me on their FB pages. Id like to take a minute to tell you a little about myself. When I was a younger guy I lived with people who were nice to me. They taught me my commands, let me live in their home and made me a member of their family. In return I never messed in the house, would give kisses on request and gave them lots of love. At some point in my life things changed. I became an outside dog and lived in the back yard. My ears became infected and no longer stand up. My sight began to fail and now I am considered blind. Im not sure why, but my last owner abandoned me on the streets and I ended up at the pound where I surely would have been put to sleep had it not been for a lot of good folks who stepped up and saved me. I currently live with a nice couple who have 2 nine year old Akitas, Bear a male and Carly a female. I get along great with them. We had a few incidents in the beginning but that was mostly because I was not familiar with the layout of the house and Carly & Bear did not realize I was blind. Now we all get along fine. I have been to the vet and Im up to date on my shots, have no more ear issues and Dr Hudman spoke to a specialist and they decided that my eyes still react to light so they are not going to remove them. I am pretty happy where I am but I would really like to have my own forever home so the people that have me now can save more Akitas in need. If I am adopted I promise to get along with other dogs like Carly & Bear. I will give you kisses and be a good buddy. I enjoy being with people and will come to you for pets and will be well behaved on our walks. Once I get familiar with your house I will get around with no help.
