Re: Ferguson Did any one really think the Grand Jury would do a magical trick and pull the rabbit out of the hat? No, we knew, long ago, there would be no indictment. It is of no surprise to most people, but this case is not ended. As the Federal Government continues to investigate it, we can only hope that justice will win out. After looking at a small slice of one of Americas communities, we realize that the fabric of our nation is so badly torn. Its coming apart at the seams. The foundation is dangerously risky. It is cracked and oozing blood and venom. The problems of the people in Ferguson are only a mirror image of what goes on in this nation, day after day in many communities. How can our country exist with these problems? As we mourn the death of Michael Brown, we also mourn the death and loss of civil rights, justice, honesty, equality, the right to exist in safety as human beings with the security that our government will not allow our rights to be aborted. People have to wake up and know there is no magic to erase our problems. We have to Stand Up, Speak out, and Get active and stay active. Our rights are precious,and they are very fragile at this time. We cannot let them wither and die. We have seen the results of what can happen when we neglect to vote and elect officials who really, honestly care about the people and the nation itself.~~~vld
