Reached the end of the Blue Ridge Parkway today. That was worthy of a bucket list entry. I rode well within the limits of the FJR, judging by a couple of bikes that blew by me. Only went into one or two turns a little hot, and feel a lot more comfortable on the bike now. One elderly lady tried to ruin my ride today by ignoring a yield sign and pulling onto the parkway right in front of me. I expect she still has no idea where I came from and what all the horn blowing was about. But I saw her in time. Fortunately I wasnt closer to her when she pulled out. Now I want to do it again! .... maybe next year!
