Read a church sign tonight that said, "Visitors welcome, Members expected." When I read it, I had to glance back again to make sure I read it right. This sign just struck me as odd/awkward. If I were seeking a church to call "home", THIS WOULD NOT BE IT! I cant quite put my finger on what it is that bothers me about this but am I the only person to sense something weird, and possibly wrong, with this statement?!?!
