Read our latest TripAdvisor review below: “At long last - Landlords who know how to run a village pub.” 27 Jul 2014 The new owners have only been installed for 3 weeks but what an amazing difference. Out has gone the bad atmosphere, bad beer and even worse staff. In has come a great selection of beers and wines served from a well kept cellar; a beer garden to die for so no more sitting by the main road and staff that are attentive, knowledgeable and well, just very nice. We had a late Sunday lunch which was served promptly and tasted great. The meat was tender, tasty and freshly carved - so no reheated shoe leather! Sadly we ate so much, extra roasties provided on request, that we were both unable to manage a desert. Never mind, perhaps next time. Yateley has been without a traditional village pub for far too long but the new Landlords the Dog and Partridge is already fitting nicely into this position. A position that quite frankly the other pubs in the area are incapable of filling. they have become far to complacent and I dont think they are capable of making the changes they should have made a long time ago. Strongly recommended to everyone.
