Reading about my visit to Caesarea by the Sea. It is thought that - TopicsExpress

Reading about my visit to Caesarea by the Sea. It is thought that in the 6th century there were close to 1 million people living in the area. At some point it all became ruins. We talked about pride, and how the people of the first century were inordinately preoccupied with self. Felix listened to Paul here (Acts 10) but his pride kept him from making the decision to accept Jesus as the Christ (Messiah). Pride can distract us from making decision that are good for us, or from choosing a relationship with Christ that can be deeper and closer than weve ever had. History helps us learn how NOT to repeat the same mistakes!
