Reading more 1983 cause of law. More cases. More books on proper pleadings. thousands of pages. Its a regular party. Preparing legal motions for my federal judge. Motion for a magistrate judge to hear the case, motion to amend the complaint, motion for appointment of counsel, motion for continuance. its law a bunch of dusty books with legal procedures that dictate how a particular thing is to be done or should not be done. Arcane procedures that are designed to confound the layman. On one side of the law there is life and on the other side is death or perpetual incarceration in the criminal field, in the civil field, it could mean 10 million or one dollar depending on how the case is handled. Did I say half the lawyers out there are charlatans? I am saying it now. I was wondering where some of them got their law degrees from. Junior college? A crap game? Online? Sheisters, some! There are some real lawyers out there, somewhere. I will find one. Or they are going to make me perfect my legal legerdemain. It doesnt matter to me much. I peeked behind the scenes of the legal world and it is much like the great Oz in the wizard of oz. Remember when Dorothy got in the castle where the great oz was and they saw that big projection on the wall talking through those big speakers sounding really loud and fearful and big plumes of fire were shooting up when he spoke. That was what the little man behind the curtain wanted them to beleve who the Great Oz is. It turned out he was just a timid little white man who was back there pulling strings and levers. At least he showed his true character when he was found out.
