Reading posts and libraries have been the most credible platforms for church planters in Indonesia. They serve the local communities by setting up and developing learning centers. Each learning center is characterized by a library and non-formal education programs. Activities at the reading posts include family reading clubs, storytelling, “Speak English” days, drawing competitions, movies, health education, sports, computer courses, and tutoring. There are 56 reading posts in West Java that are managed by church planters and local people. There are also seven larger libraries and one literacy center.
