Reading the IGNORANCE and lack of knowledge on my facebook feed serious annoys me. Do some decent RESEARCH people, reading propaganda is not research. ISLAM places emphasis on the way an animals life ends, for a life to end they believe it can only be in the name of god. HALAH means lawful Halah in terms of slaughter means... ...the animal must be killed swiftly, in a comfortable position and not suffer. ...other animals must not see the animal being killed. ...the animal must be blessed with Allahs name. I cant see anything wrong with that... anything that encourages humane treatment can only be a GOOD thing. Now even in each country across the world how the halal process of slaughter works is different as modern interpretation is applied. But some research does say that if done properly it is the most humane way to slaughter as the animal should be unconscious. Abattoirs are businesses and anything that slows their process down as halal and many of our laws to stop animal cruelty do costs money. The QURAN like the BIBLE is a document that is part of a religion / way of life which if used with commonsense you live a peaceful life. BOTH have sections in it that in todays society are consider wrong. THEY were written thousands of years ago. People are afraid of the UNKNOWN... People need to start practicing tolerance otherwise they become the extremist across the world who spend their time inciting ignorance. Get involved with people that are different and learn. Moral to the story: Dont just share any old facebook or social media bullshit, if reflects on you as a person. #internetserviceisnotgoodforme
