Real & Bayern Get The Biggest Chunk Of World Cup Money FIFA Pay Out Compensation For World Cup Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have received the most money through compensation paid to clubs by FIFA for use of players in the World Cup last summer. FIFA paid Real Madrid a total of €1,1 million for the 12 players that were part of the tournament in Brazil, including Iker Casillas, Xabi Alonso, Sergio Ramos, Cristiano Ronaldo, Pepe, Fabio Coentrao, Karim Benzema, Raphael Varane, Marcelo, Luka Modric, Sami Khedira and Angel Di Maria. The figures, which were released today showed that only Bayern Munich received more money than the Spanish giants, with €1,5 million paid to Pep Guardiola’s club. The other major beneficiaries from the agreement were Chelsea (€1,06 million) and Barcelona (€1,01 million). A total of 396 clubs charged 57 countries a total of €60 million in compensation for the tournament that took place in Brazil. For Euro 2016, which also includes the qualification rounds, countries will be ordered to pay €150 million to various European clubs.
