Real MOM Question:I have a teenage son who is in a special program in college while he is in high school. He has completed 3 college classes and if he sticks with it the next 2 years he will have 1 yr of college when he graduates high school. He will have to work hard and not be able to get a minimum wage paying job (too much studying). He will be tempted to quit the program cuz he wants $$. He is a teen this inevitable. We may be able to have the funds to Pay him to go to college (while in hs only) in order to entice him to work hard and stay in the program and also teach $$ management. Sure we could Make him be in the program regardless but eventually he will be able to quit if he wants and/or it will become a power struggle. What are your thoughts re: paying him stay in this college program? Does it teach the right or wrong thing about hard work??
