Realistically thinking, a Black utopia here in the US would be a far stretch. So was the thought of a Black President in our lifetime. Here is a continuing post, building on my earlier posting about equality and justice of our Black communities vs other communities. Previous tactics used against us in this Civil War against us have proven to be false. Tactics like additional officers to police and additional prosecutions, have also proven to be constitutionally questionable. There are two mayors that have noticed the traps being played upon people of color for profit and gains of the elite are not working. I do question the Federal governments involvement because nothing is done federally for free, ask any Congressional member. For sometime now, I have said focus on leading folks to the promise land with a righteous process of community education and economic evolvement with a positive endgame, should be the goal. Monetary and educational change of ones current environment will only instill a realistic pride and feeling of opportunity to pass on to others. Following what these two mayors have planned; trying to create prosperous communities, instilling a void of Black and Brown violence and offering options of prosperity is the ticket. These two mayors, I think they get it. Note their goal is to reinforce education, social programs, jobs to induce revenue streams via private and government assistance via tax credits and government grants. Not by creating additional laws, stiffening sentencing guidelines, frontal attack on gun laws or more police overseeing the community. Starlett, Tiffany, Maryum, Edward, Mark and Lafayette
