Realizing that a child is better at being a proper person than you are sucks. So Jacks playing with his toys and digging through his toy box (very sloppily). He creates a giant mess in the living room. So I try to enforce some etiquette, I tell Jack that he cant play with his toy until he cleans his mess and puts all the other toys back in the you box. So he does that. Well, he gets the troublesome toys (the ones I wanted him to put away) and I help. So I thank him and give him permission to play with his toy. He then corrects me and goes Its not finished. Still messy! and points out all the tiny annoying pieces that have been lodged under and between spaces. I try to convince him that its too much of a hassle (and Im too lazy to ACTUALLY clean) but he refuses to concede and continues cleaning until the entire living room is tidied up. Jack.
