Really? So Wednesday I am supposed to have hip surgery...been waiting a LONG time for this. Got hurt July 2013. They call me from the office today to say they want to cancel the surgery, or postpone it because Tricare wont cover it now. They say it is experimental. WHAT?????? She said they have done this surgery before and not had a problem but now it is a big mess because they did. They are doing an investigation. So she gave me the codes and I called the insurance company and they told me one they will cover and one they wont. Hmmm, dont know why the story changes for me. Still if they are going to fix my labral tears but not my bone spurs what are we doing here? Will I be better? What are my options?? My catastrophic cap is met until the end of the month. She is going to find out how much the not covered surgery costs. She also said I could try to go to a military hospital and see if they will do the surgery there. Well why do I already feel like I would have to start all over again with an ortho doctor, and he would want to do physical therapy again FOREVER, and cortisone shots and all the things I have had for the past year and not do the surgery because Tricare feels its experimental?? Trying SO hard to be humble and patient. Had to pray mightily for help so God might intervene on this one and work it all out so I dont have too!!!
