Really tired of those complaining about how bad it is here in the US. If it is so bad and you think other countries do it better than us. Then go to those countries to live to get your free medical and welfare. Obviously you have never been out of the continental US. NO! A cruise does not count. If you go around the island of beautiful resorts, you will find sweat shops, starving poor people. I have traveled the world. We are the best. We are allowed to speak our minds. Go to school. Work as hard as WE want to get to where we want, whether we choose to middle income or filthy rich. WE get to choose. We are not told where to worship or who can or cannot get an education. We are even allowed to run up all the debt we want and not worry about going to prison. As a woman WE can dress as we please, go as we please and tell our husband to go as we please if abused. Those who complain about us in the middle east are stupid. Ask any of those poor or women if they had a choice do they want us there or not. They are the people who are oppressed. They will tell you how grateful and happy they are to have our troops there. Their men tell women how to act , dress and how long or if they can be educated. Not one US woman would tolerate being treated this way. So you think we are terrible in the US. Some of us are poor, some of us are middleclass and some of us our filthy rich. Isnt it wonderful that WE have that choice. If you are not working, ask a foreigner who is in our country legally that is. Ask them how they did it. They will tell you they started with nothing and worked any kind of job they could get, saved and were able to get a foot hold. I have worked every kind of job to get where I am. I have worked MacDonalds, a hotel maid, janitor, babysitting, ironing, cleaning homes, mowing lawns, picking up aluminum cans, until I could finish school and move up to a better job. That is how we do it here in the US. I never asked. Or expected A handout. I would say I would step off my soap box, but I cant cause I will continue to speak out against those who think the US could be better. WE live in the the treated country in the world and I love it and will continue to fight for. It and defend it. By speaking out against the whiny lazy and spoiled. Now I will step off my Tide Pod container.
