Reasons I liked this mornings rehearsal; 1) Anna and me realising we hadnt done this Schütz madrigal since 1986! (IFs first concert) 2) Singing Schützs Die Himmel erzählen which is on a par with Byrds most joyful moments. 3) Charles Gibbs excellent German. 4) Making music with Kirsty Hopkins & Dai Miller again. 5) Leaving Matthew Long & Dai to get on with their cantata while rest of us did an a capella piece 6) Matt Long looking better than he did after the whiskey/gameofpool/dont-mess-with-the-ladies-of-Circa Contemporary Circus incident. 7) Catherine Pierron saying on way home, did you know Hitler was Australian? Short pause. No. Austrian.
