Recall that chain graphic/status Doesnt make much sense, does it? Pretty much blames poor people here, and elsewhere, for why people in America/Britain/Canada cant have basic needs met? I tried explaining, in general, (in my tiny average mind way), why that blame is misplaced. Yeah - govt. budgets are complicated. However, nobody has to be a math wiz, an expert on money, finances and government budgets to understand why we cant have nice things. All you have to understand is how much money is going where, and whos responsible for it going there. In short, its going to people and corporations who already have plenty. So, if youre in the middle, blaming people at the bottom for what youre not getting -- the people and corporations at the top, are laughing their asses off at you.
