Recap for July 23/14 From home, Abigail hears JJ and Jenn discuss the lawsuit. Abigails adamant Jenn stop Eve. At TBD, Jordan and Ben discuss their meeting with Clyde. She doesnt want to drag Rafe into this. Kate meets Clyde at the Bradys pub. He tells her he met with the kids and its hard to tell who is happier about the reunion. He asks Kate about Rafe - he knows he dated Kate and thinks he and Kate are similar creatures. He says Rafes not the man for his Tammy Sue and wants Kates help. Hell be in touch. He goes. Rafe runs into EJ and Johnny at the Horton square, who jumps into his arms, happily. They discuss Johnnys day camp, like school only with canoes. Johnny goes off while Rafe says hes glad Sami kicked him to the curb. The men part and EJ takes Johnny to the park where he plays. Jenn walks up and starts in on EJ. He tells her what happened was impulsive and he regrets it. Jenn says Sami was out of line for what she did to Abby but shed buy a ticket to watch what shell do to EJ. Sami and Caroline argue about Samis feelings for EJ. Sami claims she hates him. Hes a worm. Caroline yells that she loves him. They argue and Sami breaks down crying. Caroline holds her granddaughter as she tells her he ripped her heart out of her body. I hate him, I hate him, but I still love him. I cant stop loving him. I cant stop, Sami sobs. She thought he was going to love her forever and never suspected this. She felt like a bomb went off when she saw the photo. Caroline says she needs to feel this if she wants to get past it. This is the first time she has cried, she says. I was surviving. Thats what she does. She remembers how EJ thought he had gotten away with it. When hed kiss her, she saw him kissing Abby. Caroline disapproves of the revenge. Sami says they were finally a family, And he broke us. Sami bawls and then stomps around. Shes not weak! Carolines sure EJ never meant to do this. Sami thinks the two of them were laughing about it. Caroline doubts that. They embarrassed themselves. Caroline reminds Sami that she was EJ. She cheated on Grandpa Shawn and risked everything that made her life worth living. Shes thankful Shawn never ditched her. She cant tell Sami to take EJ back but thinks Sami is the one paying if she holds on to this bitterness. Caroline says shes been through worse. She can do this. Sami hugs Caroline. She goes and Allie arrives. She tells her mom where EJ and Johnny are and gives her a wedding keepsake album. She uploaded all the photos and says theyre an official family. Samis verklempt. Allie shows her that EJs teaching her to make origami cranes. Samis touched. Allie goes and EJ returns. Johnny runs upstairs and EJ goes to Sami. At the hospital, Kayla and Hope discuss the gala. Hope flashes to dancing with Aiden. He arrives and its obvious something is going on between Hope and Aiden. Kayla is paged away and Hope and Aiden share a look when some papers fall. Kayla returns as Aiden leaves. She realizes Hope has a thing for Aiden. Hope hasnt betrayed Bo and insists she has no feelings for Aiden. Rafe finds Kate at the pub. He tells her Jordans about to spill about her past and hes going to tell her about cheating. The truth will come out at some point anyway. Kate points out nobody else knows. Rafes going to do it anyway. He asks why she helped Sami takeover DiMera Enterprises. She says its about money - and him. Its payback. Clyde arrives at TBD. He takes Jordan out while Abigail and Ben catch up. He explains hes not judging her over her affair with EJ. Aiden arrives at Jenns. The status report on JJs community service is due. JJ hands over his log hours. He talks about things with Paige being shaky because of the lawsuit. JJ thinks its because Eves marriage to Mr. Larson went south and she became bitter. Aiden says thats why he should never rush into marriage because itd be the biggest mistake of his life. He apologizes for going overboard. He must have been watching too many episodes of The Real Housewives. Clyde takes Jordan to the woods and tells her he did the best he could after her momma passed. He wants to make it up to them. She asks him to let them be. He cant. At the square, Hope tells Ciara to pack her bags. Theyre going on holiday.
