Received this notice from Mary Shaw of Arts Benicia today. Dear Michael, Arts Benicia is pleased to inform you that juror Phil Linhares, formerly Chief Curator for the Oakland Museum has selected your work, Blood Moon for Arts Benicias upcoming exhibit, Altered Landscapes. The competition was significant. There were 268 images submitted. Fifty-nine works were accepted into the exhibit. Altered landscapes is supported by a major grant from the Community Sustainability Commission to raise awareness about environmental realities and provoke a dialogue aimed at creating a sustainable future for our community. Dont know if Im all that but Im feeling pretty artsy fartsy.
