Received your leaflet through the door in Queens Road this morning and have already signed the position on-line. The way this has been presented by the Council Officers has been scandalous. From what Ive read so far it appears that they have been, at the least, economic with the facts in order to suit their own purposes! In my experience (Im aged 70 and have lived in Central London, the Home Counties, Gloucestershire and Yorkshire) Councillors are all too ready to accept what their Officers tell them at face value. They have a duty to investigate the accuracy of any proposal put to them at a very early stage, before it is put to the public. Im sure it didnt happen in this case.
