Recently, I was a passenger in a friends vehicle, and was listening to the station on his radio. It is a local station in the Jackson area, and when it went to break it said playing the best oldies in the Jackson area.....well, imagine my surprise when I heard that. The station went on to say it plays the 70s & 80s. It calls itself an oldies station and limits itself to 70s & 80s??? Well folks, not only did they mislead you, the public, but they have omitted the music you grew up with and remember so well. How can you, the listener trust any radio station that makes a false claim, while at the same time, not offer REAL oldies like The Beatles, The Doors, Percy Sledge....oh, I could go on and on. Fact is, you should be offended that they would make such a misleading and insulting statement. Other than winning your approval, how else can we prove how misleading they were? OldiesOnTheNet WE play the VERY best oldies in the Jackson area......and then some.
