Recently Ive heard a lot of talk about stealing of ideas, copying or even stealing intellectual property. Lets be aware that a lot of ideas arent NEW or OWNED. There are many systems that have been around for years, even if we didnt know about them when we had our moment of inspiration/innovation. Isnt it easy for us to point the finger at others or be quick to defend those who we think have been stolen from... lets remember to keep our mind open. Humility is acknowledging that we have been inspired by those whove gone before us and that our innovations will inspire those ahead of us. Growing up as an athlete, there was something that always helped me to keep things in perspective - Its not what we do, its HOW we do it... We took the approach that even if we would tell the other team our plays, our systems and at times exactly what we were going to do next they could not stop us because of HOW we executed. Winning strategies were borrowed, video tapes studied so they could attempt to stop us next time and yet (so paralleled with information marketing) its not the knowledge that is power, its the application... So lets be grateful that others has been so open to share with us their systems and at christmas/holiday time lets be inspired to go out and execute in 2015 so that those whove borrowed or even stolen can have their share because ours will always be safe.
