He has won the National Film Award for Best Non-Feature Animation Film twice, You Said It (1972) and Fire Games (1983). He was awarded a lifetime achievement award at the 2006 Mumbai International Film Festival and was awarded the Padma Shri the fourth-highest civilian award given by Government of India in 2014. 2)ZICA ACADEMIC CONFERENCE:The objective of the conference will be to enhance or boost the academic delivery, improve student activities, provide updates on the industry needs, roles and responsibility of every faculty. The guest speakers of this event were: The Profile of the Trainers: Javed Khan - is an Indian film and television actor and former model. He studied at the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. Sibtain Sahidi - B.A. In social work. M.A. in communication. MCRC Jamia Millia Islamia Sharat Ch. Parsha - Bachelors in animation filmmaking from NID, Special scholarship Diploma in filmmaking from Sheridan University, Canada. Mithun Pangal - Visionary Geek, born as an Electrical Engineer , Trained in London by Escape Studios on worlds best Rendering Technologies, Awarded as the worlds 2nd Pixar Certified Professional. His Role is to Interact with various Industries and develop various revolutionary product lines
