Recently someone I knew had experience on FB with identity theft. Here is an important tip to stop that. Facebook makes our profile picture public. Hackers can download that by searching for you in Google. Then they look at your profile and see who your friends are. Most people I see on FB DO NOT make their friend list private. Please consider making your friends list private! My privacy setting is set to "Only Me" and mutual friends can see mutual friends but nothing more. No outsider can see who my friends are. Go to your timeline, and where it says friends, there is a little pencil to edit. One of the ways hackers and spammers succeed is by posing as someone you know. Why give them your complete friend list?
