But the short answer is that if you have been bringing your dog to the GACC and following the vaccine protocol we have recommended for your pet, chances are your dog is up-to-date on his/her parvovirus vaccine. We give the vaccine in combination with the canine distemper vaccine. Our distemper vaccine for dogs at the GACC contains 5 components, DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza & Parvovirus). It is important that you understand your dogs age (puppies receive a series) and vaccine schedule and the vaccines efficacy labeling, for example 1 or 3 years.
